Happy New Year!

We have been blessed with a wonderful year. Sure, our investments aren't worth as much as they were a year ago, but we are healthy and are fortunate to have such wonderful family and friends. 2008 has been marked by many adventures for us:
  • February: Survived my first career expo at work; I never realized exactly how much work they are until I had to organize one myself
  • April: Enjoyed a visit from my Mom, including a weekend trip to St. Augustine
  • May: Celebrated Mother's Day with Chad's family in Tennessee
  • June: Traveled to Hawaii (leaving Chad at home, unfortunately) for NAADA
  • June: Welcomed visitors as UF hosted RMC, Chad's main professional conference
  • June: Celebrated my Grandma's 90th birthday with family in Oklahoma
  • July: Visited friends Juston, Leslie, Jason, Katie and Lowry with a trip to Savannah, Georgia, and Charleston, South Carolina.
  • August: Enjoyed a visit from Chad's Dad
  • August: Chad welcomed his first graduate students
  • September: Celebrated our first anniversary with a trip SeaWorld
  • November: Chad finished his first year with a meat judging team at UF; they reached their goal of being in the top five at a national contest
  • December: Explored Disney World for the first time, visiting Epcot and the Magic Kingdom

We also enjoyed visits from our friends AJ and Beth this year. We have also been blessed this holiday season by being able to visit both our families in Oklahoma and Tennessee.
